Trailero que atropelló y mató a niño de cinco años, llegó a pedirle perdón a la familia del menor
El chofer es vecino de la familia y asegura que no vio al pequeño.
La noche de este lunes 23 de enero, se reportó un lamentable accidente en Guácimo de Limón, que dejó como saldo la muerte de un menor de cinco años, quien resultó atropellado por un tráiler.
Según trascendió el incidente ocurrió pasadas las 7:00pm, cuando el niño quien se llamaba Mateo, se encontraba jugando con su bicicleta junto a unos amigos en una calle de lastre, cuando en apariencia se cayó de esta, justo en el momento que pasaba el vehículo pesado.
En cuanto al conductor del tráiler, según contó la mamá del pequeño, Carla Vega, a CRHoy.com, este se acercó este martes, a ellos para pedirles perdón y a explicarles lo sucedido.
“El señor estaba dolido, insistió muchas veces en decir ‘la verdad no lo vi, yo pasé lento, yo no sabía nada’. A él le afectó mucho ver a mi hija de 11 años llorando. Él se fue muy afectado”, expresó Vega a CRHoy.com
Asimismo, esta joven madre de 29 años, comentó que el chofer quien es vecino de ellos, todos los días pasaba con su tráiler para la casa y lo hacía de una manera lenta, debido a que en el lugar siempre hay niños jugando en las calles.
“Es un barrio muy tranquilo, los chiquillos juegan hasta tarde. El tráiler vecino pasó para su casa. Mi bebé estaba al otro lado de la calle. La bici no tenía frenos, cuando él intentó frenar, se resbaló, cayó y justamente en ese momento pasó el tráiler. Yo siento que él se asustó y se cayó. Segundos después, uno de los chiquillos me dijo ‘es que a Mateo lo golpeó el tráiler’”, recordó la madre.
“El señor estuvo en mi casa, yo le dije ‘sé que fue un accidente, no le guardo rencor’. Si siente que necesita un perdón yo le dije ‘yo lo perdono’, yo no puedo culparlo, fue un accidente. Él es un vecino de acá y siempre pasa lento. Aquí, lamentablemente la carretera necesita asfalto”, agregó Vega.
