Autoridades detienen a dos costarricenses y dos colombianos con 100 kilos de cocaína en su poder
Los hombres fueron detenidos en el parqueo de una ferretería en Escazú.
Según dio a conocer el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública este fin de semana, agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), con apoyo de la Policía Municipal de Escazú, el pasado viernes 6 de enero, lograron dar con la detención de cuatro hombres, quienes portaban con un importante cargamento de droga.
Dicha detención se realizó en el parqueo de la ferretería EPA en el sector de Escazú, donde los hombres se encontraban y llevaban ocultos 100 kilos de cocaína, en uno de los vehículos en que viajaban, esto tras varias diligencias y seguimientos que realizaron las autoridades.
De acuerdo al informe del OIJ, la investigación de este caso arrancó después de que recibieran información confidencial acerca del desarrollo de la actividad delictiva.
Los cuatro detenidos quedaron en manos del Ministerio Público, quienes deberán determinar la situación jurídica de los sospechosos.
