Reos fabricaron 1000 pupitres y los donaron a estudiantes de escuela
Los pupitres fueron elaborados con materiales reciclados.
Los reos del Centro de Atención Institucional Carlos Luis Fallas, ubicado en Pococí de Guápiles, Limón, se pusieron “manos a la obra” y fabricaron 1000 pupitres a base de materiales reciclados, los cuales posteriormente fueron donados a estudiantes de escuela.
Dicho proyecto nació del programa ReciclaDOS de la Cooperativa de Productores de Leche Dos Pinos, en alianza con el Ministerio de Justicia y Paz y el Ministerio de Educación Pública.
Según trascendió solo en el último año, los privados de libertad utilizaron siete toneladas métricas de material tetrabrik, el cual convirtieron en láminas y luego en los pupitres.
De los mil que fueron fabricados, 200 llegaron a nueve centros educativos como parte del premio “Mi Reto Guardián 2022”, del programa en conjunto con Guardianes de la Naturaleza, donde los centros educativos aportaron sus iniciativas en la lucha de la protección del medio ambiente y del planeta.
DE igual marea 100 pupitres, fueron entregados a cinco escuelas unidocentes ganadoras de la edición 2022 del concurso Mi Cuento Fantástico, del programa Amigos del Aprendizaje-ADA.
El resto de pupitres fueron destinados a centros educativos que están galardonados con Bandera Azul Ecológica de comunidades de San Carlos, Palmares, Desamparados, San José, Buenos Aires, La Guácima, Upala, Liberia y Cóbano de Puntarenas.
