¡Nuevo golpe al narco! Autoridades interceptan embarcación con casi 1000kg de cocaína
Cinco personas extranjeras fueron detenidas.
Según informó este lunes el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública (MSP), dieron un nuevo golpe al narcotráfico luego de que detuvieron a una embarcación en la que viajaban cinco personas extranjeras y más de 1000 kilogramos (kg) de aparente droga.
Esto lo anunció el ministro de Seguridad Pública, Jorge Torres Carrillo, junto al director de Guardacostas de Costa Rica, el comisario Martín Arias, y al director de la Policía de Control de Drogas (PCD), Stephen Madden.
La embarcación interceptada iba abordada por cinco colombianos quienes fueron detenidos, además, cargada de 999 kilogramos de aparente cocaína y ocho kilogramos de aparente marihuana.
“Se trata de la interdicción de una embarcación abordada por cinco colombianos que fueron capturados y al decomiso de 999 kilogramos de aparente cocaína y ocho kilogramos de aparente marihuana”, indica el informe del MSP.
En esta operación antidrogas participaron oficiales de Guardacostas, la Fuerza Pública, la PCD, el Servicio de Vigilancia Aérea de Costa Rica (SVACR), la Unidad Especial de Apoyo (UEACR) y las Unidades de Intervención Policial (UIPCR).
