Seis meses de prisión preventiva para el joven que atacó a machetazos a tres mujeres en Hatillo
La adulta mayor ya fue dada de alta, mientras que las dos jóvenes siguen internadas en el hospital.
Hoy se cumple una semana de que se dio el lamentable ataque con un machete a dos jóvenes y una adulta mayor, por parte del novio de una de las afectadas, esto en Hatillo 2.
El hombre sospechoso de atacar a su exnovia, la hermana de ella y la abuelita de ambas, identificado con los apellidos Rivera Quesada de 20 años, deberá pasar seis meses en la cárcel cumpliendo prisión preventiva.
Esto lo dio a conocer el Ministerio Público, quienes indicaron que el caso contra Rivera está siendo manejado por los presuntos delitos de tentativa de femicidio y tentativa de homicidio calificada.
“A solicitud del despacho, el Juzgado Penal de la zona ordenó contra el imputado la medida cautelar de prisión preventiva por seis meses. Mientras tanto, la causa continúa en desarrollo con la recolección y análisis de pruebas. Debido a que la etapa en que se encuentra el caso es privada, no es posible brindar más información, tal como lo establece el artículo 295 del Código Procesal Penal”, informó el Ministerio Público.
Con respecto a la relación del sospechoso con una de las heridas, trascendió que esta había finalizado varios meses antes de la agresión, pero que ambos trabajaban en el mismo lugar y un problema que se dio en el lugar donde laboran hizo que Rivera llegará hasta la casa de las afectadas a reclamarle a su exnovia.
Dicho problema desencadenó el ataque a la mujer de 20 años, y al ver lo sucedido la abuelita y hermana de esta intentaron defenderla, terminando heridas de gravedad también.
Según había trascendido el día de los hechos las víctimas fueron trasladadas al Hospital San Juan de Dios, donde todavía permanecen internadas las dos jóvenes, mientras que la adulta mayor ya fue dada de alta.
El caso sigue bajo investigación del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ).
