Hijos de mujer fallecida en tragedia de Cambronero quedaron campeones con la Liga
Los niños se coronaron campeones en la categoría U-11.
Muchos recordarán a doña Jenny Gómez, por ser una de las lamentables víctimas de la tragedia de Cambronero, donde un bus de la empresa Alfaro cayó a un guindo.
Cuando se dio la tragedia, trascendió que Gómez era trabajadora del CAR de la Liga y que, además, tenía hijos gemelos que jugaban con el cuadro manudo en las categorías menores, quienes la llenaban de orgullo.
Y es que los hijos de doña Jenny, le hicieron un regalo especial a su madre que ahora los ve desde donde quiera que este, ya que se acaban de coronarse campeones en la categoría U-11, honrando el nombre de su mamá, quien se caracterizaba por ser fiel seguidora a la LDA, al igual que el resto de la familia oriunda de la localidad de San Buenaventura, Abangares, Guanacaste.
Los niños llamados Juan Pablo Serrano Gómez y José Pablo Serrano Gómez, obtuvieron el campeonato, luego de que su equipo ganará la final ante el Club Sport Herediano.
Los menores en honor a su madre utilizaron una camiseta con la frase favorita de doña Jenny “esfuérzate y sé valiente”, con la cual dieron la vuelta olímpica, llenando sin duda de orgullo a su familia y a su madre que hoy los ve desde el cielo.
Los pequeños desde ya escriben historia en el cuadro manudo y se proyectan para convertirse en grandes figuras Alajuelenses.
