Wilmer “El Pato” López asegura que la Liga le dio una cara diferente al fútbol femenino
El Pato es el entrenador de las Leonas que este sábado disputarán la final femenina.
Posiblemente muchas personas conocen a Wilmer “El Pato” López, por ser un ídolo Alajuelense, debido a las alegrías que muchas veces le dio a la afición del equipo de su gente, sin embargo, a pesar de que ya está retirado como jugador aún le sigue dando alegría a los manudos, pero desde otra posición.
Esto debido a que Wilmer actualmente está al mando de las Leonas, quienes este sábado 10 de diciembre, buscarán el tetracampeonato ante el equipo de Sporting FC.
Las jugadoras manudas están bastante cerca de conseguir su cuarto título al hilo, y su entrenador asegura que el fútbol femenino ha cambiado gracias a la Liga y el proyecto de sus jugadoras.
Esto lo dejó saber El Pato durante una conferencia de prensa, donde destacó los aportes que ha tenido el equipo de su gente en pro del desarrollo del fútbol femenino nacional, debido a que han profesionalizado a las jugadoras dándoles calidad y las mejores condiciones deportivas.
“Es una final más y es motivo de orgullo, que refleja lo bien que se ha venido trabajando en los últimos tres o cuatro años que tiene Alajuelense en el fútbol femenino, La Liga le ha dado una cara diferente al fútbol femenino y soy de los que siempre he dicho que el fútbol femenino cambió desde aquella final de Codea Alajuela enfrentó a Saprissa a estadio lleno y vio a La Liga campeón, de ahí en adelante se tuvo otra cara gracias a la afición de Alajuelense, todo esto ha sido en beneficio del fútbol femenino de Costa Rica, siento y creo que hemos apoyado bastante al deporte”, expresó López.
Con respecto a la ida de la final femenina se llevará a cabo este sábado 10 de diciembre a las 7:00pm en el estadio de Las Leonas, el Alejandro Morera Soto.
