Kristian Mora: “Señor Suárez usted es el único técnico en el mundo que no le gustan los fogueos”
Tras la eliminación de La Sele en fase de grupos en el Mundial de Qatar 2022, el periodista se mostró muy molesto en una transmisión de Tigo Sports.
Después de la eliminación de La Sele en el Mundial de Qatar 2022, el periodista Kristian Mora arremetió contra el técnico de la Tricolor, Luis Fernando Suárez y la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (FCRF).
Mora se notaba molesto, señaló que los federativos deben reconocer que la actuación del equipo patrio en la cita mundialista fue mala y al mismo tiempo los invitó a ponerse a trabajar para formar una selección competitiva que destaque en todos los torneos en los que participa y no solo se enfoque en la eliminatoria rumbo a la Copa del Mundo.
“Hay que hacer algo ya y la selección tiene que hacer algo ya. Por ejemplo, a mí me gustaría ver que la Federación de Fútbol, que el técnico Suárez no sé si hay comisión técnica ya o si con el Mundial se desaparece o qué y que digan ok junio, julio Copa Oro el siguiente objetivo vamos a pelear por Copa Oro, quiénes juegan Copa Oro, cómo preparamos esa selección en Copa Oro. Señor Suárez usted es el único técnico en el mundo que no le gustan los fogueos cuando es la forma en que usted pone a competir a un equipo”, inició su descargo Mora.
“Pensar en qué hacemos, contra quién jugamos. Señores vamos a pelear por la Copa Oro. Es que si no, no vamos a crecer nunca. Si llegamos a la Copa Oro para poner otra vez excusas y es que estamos saliendo de esto y es que no, no. México, que fue un desastre le aseguro que va a ir a pelear e intentar ganar la Copa Oro, esa es la diferencia entiendan en la cabeza empieza el objetivo, empieza en las ganas de hacer algo”, agregó.
El periodista lamentó que no exista autocrítica por parte del técnico Suárez, ni del presidente de la FCRF, Rodolfo Villalobos y mucho menos por parte de los futbolistas.
“Yo quisiera ahora que hablamos que no hay autocrítica, que dentro de la selección, dentro de la federación que dijeran señores estuvimos muy mal, pero bueno hay que agarrar a Brandon (Aguilera), hay que agarrar a Jewison (Bennette) hay que agarrar a Carlos Martínez, hay que apostar por un arquero y empezamos a preparar. Que si Youstin Salas se mantiene, si Yeltsin Tejeda se mantiene, si Joel Campbell, cuál es nuestro equipo para ir a pelear la Copa Oro”, señaló.
El también locutor exhortó a los federativos a ponerse la camiseta para sacar a las selecciones adelante.
“Resulta que jugamos en Concacaf, nos creemos uno de los grandes de Concacaf y nunca hemos ganado una Copa Oro que se disputa desde 1991. Yo creo que ahí sí daríamos un paso adelante tenemos 6 meses por delante ok pongámonos a trabajar en enero señores, pongamos a una selección que compita que empiece a lavarse la cara y después de la Copa Oro viene Liga de Naciones y ahí vamos, pero que haya una reacción que usted sienta que se quiere hacer algo”, dijo Mora.
“Que se diga sí, fallamos sí tenemos que mejorar. A nivel local qué implementamos y no que la Navidad nos ayude a olvidarnos del tema que llegue el torneo de enero que no pase nada y que después vuelvan las excusas”, agregó.
Por último el periodista aseguró que el fútbol costarricense siempre ha vivido excusas a nivel de selección.
“La Copa Oro no se gana y es la excusa porque estamos haciendo equipo para la eliminatoria. Las últimas eliminatorias son pésimas, pero clasificamos y eso tiene que borrar cualquier crítica porque al final la gente celebra y se sube en el barco y todo esta bien no, no todo está bien y al 2026 tenemos que clasificar y yo esperaría que sin Canadá que sin México y sin Estados Unidos clasifiquemos muy bien”, comentó el director de Deportes de Tigo Sports.
“El objetivo no tiene que ser solo la clasificación, el objetivo es hacer un equipo competitivo para la eliminatoria, para la Copa Oro, para el próximo Mundial. El objetivo tiene que ser que regresemos a los mundiales menores porque esta gestión federativa es un total y completo fracaso”, concluyó.
