Encuentran una gigantesca rata de 45 centímetros de largo
‘Me asustó hasta la muerte’, dijo la mujer que fotografió al roedor.
Un adulto mayor, quien estaba luchando contra la plaga de ratones en su jardín, atrapó una rata del tamaño de un perro pequeño, en Blackburn, Lancashire, Reino Unido.
Se trata de Derek Blamire (82), quien diariamente trata de deshacerse de la plaga de roedores que llegan a su jardín para alimentarse con la comida para pájaros que coloca en el lugar.
Según recogió The Sun, Sylvia (80), su esposa, fotografió a la rata muerta del tamaño de un border terrier mientras era sostenido por Balmire con un recogedor de basura. La apodaron «Ratzilla».
“De la nariz a la cola, medía alrededor de 18 pulgadas (45,72 centímetros) de largo”, señaló Derek Balmire.
A su vez, sostuvo que “era del largo de un bebé pequeño”.
“Me asustó hasta la muerte”, añadió Sylvia.
De momento, Derek seguirá intentando repeler a las ratas que arriban a su casa. Según dijo, ha atrapado 50 roedores en los últimos años. “Si siguen viniendo, los seguiré atrapando. No me voy a rendir”.
