El desgarrador video de un colombiano que cruza el Darién para ir a Estados Unidos
En un video divulgado en redes sociales se ve que Héctor Marino Núñez Ramírez ya no puede seguir avanzando. Desde Cali su familia ruega para que le salven la vida
El colombiano Héctor Marino Núñez Ramírez se unió a las caravanas de migrantes que buscan llegar por territorio selvático a Centroamérica y Estados Unidos.
En un video divulgado en redes se aprecia que el hombre está derrumbado y se escuchan voces que le dicen que no se deje morir en la selva del Darién. Sus allegados, en cadena de oración, elevan súplicas para saber sobre su suerte en un viaje que es calificado como infernal.
La historia es de Héctor Marino Núñez Ramírez, quien estaba trabajando en Ipiales, ciudad fronteriza entre Nariño y Ecuador.
El mes pasado regresó a visitar a su familia, que vive en el barrio Nacional, ladera del oeste de Cali. Pero venía con la idea de seguir viaje en busca del llamado “sueño americano”.
Algunos allegados le dijeron que era un peligro, pero él quería darle un mejor futuro a su vida y a la de sus familiares. Decidió partir. Inicialmente fue hasta la frontera, a más de 700 kilómetros, para entrar al llamado Tapón del Darién.

El hombre, posiblemente con otras personas que se embarcan en ese recorrido, habría avanzado hasta llegar a la trocha del Darién, por la que cruzaron 133.000 migrantes en 2021.
Los haitianos eran los más numerosos en ese viaje, pero ahora se han sumado venezolanos y no pocos colombianos.
Es un desplazamiento del cual no hay cifras oficiales de muertos o desaparecidos. El año pasado se dio una grave crisis social cuando se aglomeraron 25.000 migrantes en Necoclí, a siete horas de Medellín y en el borde de la frontera con Panamá.
En el fin de semana apareció un video en TikTok que dejó enmudecida y angustiada a la familia Núñez Ramírez, en Cali.
El hombre apareció primero derrumbado en una especie de playa, en pantaloneta, sin camisa y embarrado. Luego se aprecia en otro video en el que está sentado, con el rostro marcado por el fango y repite que no puede más.
Se escuchan voces de quienes serían venezolanos que le dan ánimos para que retome la senda.
“Tengo débiles las piernas, me duelen”, dice Núñez Ramírez y una voz le repíte “estíralas, vamos”. El colombiano pide que lo lleven, pero le dicen que “no se puede, ni que fueras flaquito. Nos agarró la noche”.
“La última noticia que tenemos de Héctor es que estaba en el campamento 3, pero no sabemos si sigue allí. Nosotros les decimos que nadie debe ir a un recorrido tan peligroso”, dice una de las allegadas desde el barrio Nacional de Cali.

Los familiares, en cadena de oración, piden a la Cancillería, a la Defensoría del Pueblo y a todos los que conozcan de su paradero “la misericordia para saber si está bien y le ayuden a salir de allí. La mamá está esperando saber de su destino”.

A mediados de agosto, por la misma red social, se mostraba a una mujer haitiana que había sido abandonada en el camino y que recibió ayuda de venezolanos.
Cuentan que tenian cuatro días caminando y el grupo la dejó botada. “Nosotros somos venezolanos no la vamos a dejar morir. Si es de caminar dos ó tres días más nos la llevamos. Como venezolanos hacemos este gesto humanitario”.
