TSE: Partidos políticos en segunda ronda podrán acreditar más fiscales
Fiscales de partidos que no llegaron a segunda ronda, podrán ser vigilantes y garantizar la transparencia de los comicios, indicó el órgano electoral.
El Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones (TSE) dispuso que las dos agrupaciones que aspiran a la presidencia y vicepresidencias de la República, el Partido Liberación Nacional (PLN) y el Partido Progreso Social Democrático (PPSD) puedan acreditar más fiscales para los comicios del próximo domingo 3 de abril.
El TSE indicó que con esta medida busca dotar de un blindaje extra al proceso electoral.
Las agrupaciones políticas tienen tiempo hasta el próximo 7 de marzo para acreditar más fiscales.
Para las elecciones celebradas en febrero pasado, participaron cerca de 70 mil fiscales partidarios, cifra récord en un proceso electoral. Aunado a lo anterior, durante el escrutinio definitivo de votos, realizado en el TSE, las agrupaciones inscribieron 120 fiscales.
Para la segunda ronda del próximo 3 de abril estos fiscales tendrán nuevamente la posibilidad de realizar esta labor de vigilancia, aún cuando su partido no participe en la próxima contienda.
“Otra medida de seguridad lo constituyen los diferentes agentes electorales que desarrollan y blindan el proceso comicial. Es así como aún cuando en el TSE laboran alrededor de 2 mil funcionarios, el pasado 6 de febrero, día de las elecciones, cerca de 100 mil agentes electorales (70 mil fiscales, 8 mil integrantes de juntas receptoras de votos, 15 mil auxiliares electorales, 915 delegados ad honorem del TSE, entre otros) blindaron el proceso. Esto significa que, en Costa Rica, los comicios son desarrollados y vigilados por el pueblo costarricense, cuyo ejercicio ciudadano es motivo de múltiples reconocimientos alrededor del mundo”, destacó el TSE.
