Glenda Peraza habla sobre operación de su hija por bolita en el seno: “Era una angustia terrible”
La expresentadora confesó uno de los momentos más dolorosos que tuvo como madre.
La expresentadora de televisión, Glenda Peraza, abrió su corazón y confesó uno de los momentos más dolorosos que ha vivido como madre.
Hace unas semanas su hija, Kianny Berry, de 18 años, le contó que se había palpado “una pelotita en uno de sus senos”.
“Hace como dos semanas Kianny nos contó (a ella y a su esposo Byron Garita) que le había salido una pelotita en el seno. Lo cuento porque estamos en el mes rosa y porque es muy importante hacer un llamado para que todas las personas se estén haciendo el autoexamen de mama, hombres y mujeres, porque a ellos también les da cáncer de seno. Últimamente se detecta cáncer de mama en jóvenes”, comenzó su descargo la creadora de contenido.
“Mi hija nos dice que se palpó en un senito una pelotita que se sentía y se palpaba muy durita y muy grande. Inmediatamente a uno todo se le escalofría. Cuando uno ha pasado cáncer en la familia (su madre falleció en setiembre de 2020 luego de batallar contra el cáncer de cerebro), uno le toma mucho miedo y respeto al cáncer (…). En el momento en el que Kianny nos dice eso las lucecitas de alarma se nos despiertan. No habían pasado ni cinco días cuando yo, como la más tóxica, quería una cita con mi mamógrafa, que es radióloga. En mi familia por parte de mamá hay muchísimo cáncer y sobre todo de mama”, añadió Glenda.
“La doctora no tenía cita hasta que la logré. Nos dio cita para que le hiciera un ultrasonido común y corriente a mi hija. La doctora la empieza a revisar y dice: ‘no, esta pelotita es alarmante. Es bastante grande y tiene que verla un oncólogo. Seguro él le va a mandar una referencia para hacerle una biopsia’”, manifestó Peraza.
“Cuando la doctora lo dijo yo sentí que todo se me bajó. No puedo explicarles lo que yo sentí como madre. Luego la doctora agregó: ‘no me gustaría pasarle por encima al oncólogo pero hay que biopsiarla’. Yo le digo: ‘pasémosle por encima al oncólogo y sáquele la biopsia’”, añadió.
En el audiovisual, Glenda, detalló el proceso al que tuvo que hacerle frente “Kiki”, como llaman de cariño a Kianny.
“Ahora la biopsia no es con la jeringa, que jalan y sacan, ahora no: se anestesia y se usa una pistolita que entra y suena. Jala como una aguja el tejido para que será biopsiado. La pelotita (de Kianny) estaba muy dura, eso se lo hicieron 12 veces a Kianny. Cada vez que disparaban sangraba. Yo sentía que el alma se me iba, este es el mensaje y testimonio de vida. No quisiera que en el mundo nadie pase por esto”, dijo Peraza con la voz entrecortada.
“En eso sale un momentito la doctora y me dice Kianny: ‘ma, acérquese un momento’. En eso me dice que tiene mucho miedo y se pone a llorar. Ella es la mujer más fuerte que yo conozco. Y en ese momento se puso sensible, ella tiene aquí (se señala la sien) muy presente todo lo de su abuelita. Precisamente cuando mi mamá estaba con el cáncer, que era cerebral, creyeron que tenía cáncer de mama y le hicieron esa biopsia en el seguro y le maltrataron mucho el seno. Le dejaron el seno completamente morado, muy despedazado. A mi se me venía esa imagen de mi mamá, que acaba de morir de cáncer y además tengo una tía esperando un diagnóstico de cáncer en el seno”, agregó.
Tras el procedimiento médico llegó la hora de la verdad, el resultado.
“La doctora ya (termina) y le dice: ‘mi amor límpiese, ya le voy a dar los datos’. Y ahí viene la preocupación y la angustia de esperar lo que venía. Había un 50% de posibilidades de que tuviera un cáncer y un 50% de que no tuviera un cáncer. Entonces era una angustia terrible”, recordó Glenda.
Tras nueve días el resultado de la biopsia llegó: fue negativo.
“Yo decía que si salía negativo iba a disfrutar más la vida, a ser más libre, a decirle a mi hija más que la amo. Tenemos un viaje programado para diciembre y yo digo que lo vamos a vivir al máximo”, acotó la exmodelo.
Los médicos recomendaron sacar la masa del seno. El pasado miércoles, Kianny, fue intervenida con éxito.
Por medio de una nueva publicación, Glenda, agradeció las muestras de apoyo que ha recibido.
“Esta experiencia nos ha dejado tantas enseñanzas, pero sobre todo un despertar de convivencia de vivir a lo máximo, intensamente, con todas las ganas, con agradecimiento, con amor al prójimo y entre nosotros, más ‘te amo’ de los que había. Más ganas de gastar cada cupón de vida, día a día, de abrazar, de amar, vivir y dejar vivir, empatía, sororidad, respeto, inclusión, amor y más amor”, escribió.
Kianny, quien estudia publicidad, es una sensación en las redes sociales. Es hija de Glenda Peraza y del exfutbolista Austin Berry con quien estuvo casada por 14 años.
