La poderosa razón por la que Coldplay arrancará su gira mundial en Costa Rica
La banda británica se presentará en el Estadio Nacional el próximo 18 de marzo.
El grupo británico Coldplay anunció este jueves 14 de octubre que el Estadio Nacional será la sede del primer concierto de su gira mundial del 2022 con motivo del lanzamiento de su noveno disco de estudio ‘Music of the Spheres’.
En su página web, el grupo liderado por Chris Martin, comentó que eligió a Costa Rica para dar su primer concierto porque el país produce el 99 % de su electricidad con fuentes renovables, lo que va acorde con el modelo ecológico de su gira.
Este concepto enmarca varios aspectos para reducir la huella de carbono entre ellos: el uso de energía, el viaje que realizarán, los materiales que se usarán en el escenario, las pulseras LED que utilizará el público, entre otros.
La agrupación inglesa también anunció una sorpresa para sus seguidores en Tiquicia.
Coldplay, conformado por Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion y Guy Berryman, arrancará su gira mundial en Costa Rica el 18 de marzo de 2022. Las entradas saldrán a la venta el próximo 21 de octubre.
Este será el primer concierto masivo que se realizará en el país desde el inicio de la pandemia de la Covid-19.
Entre los países que Coldplay visitará el próximo año se encuentran además de Costa Rica: República Dominicana, México, Estados Unidos, Alemania, Polonia, Francia, Bélgica, Reino Unido y por último Brasil.
