Gobierno multará a funcionarios que se rehúsen a ser vacunados contra la Covid-19
Los funcionarios reacios a vacunarse afrontarían medidas disciplinarias como una multa de ₡462.200 y una denuncia ante el Ministerio Público.
Los trabajadores de instituciones públicas que se rehúsen a ser vacunados contra la Covid-19 a partir del próximo viernes 15 de octubre, sin una justificación médica, se exponen a medidas disciplinarias como un procedimiento administrativo, una multa fija de ₡462.200 y una denuncia ante el Ministerio Público.
Así lo dio a conocer Casa Presidencial la tarde de este martes por medio de un comunicado de prensa.
Si aun con esta campaña los trabajadores siguen reacios a vacunarse los jerarcas darán entre 5 y 10 días hábiles a los funcionarios para cumplir la orden de inmunizarse. Una vez cumplido ese plazo se impondrán las medidas disciplinarias.
“Sin ser excluyentes entre sí, las medidas podrían ser un procedimiento administrativo, una multa fija, un salario base, según estipula el artículo 378 de la Ley General de Salud, y una denuncia ante el Ministerio Público”, informó Casa Presidencial.
En el reporte se entregarán datos generales, sin detalles individuales ni sensibles sobre los funcionarios. Se realizará un segundo informe sobre este tema el 26 de noviembre.
El presidente de la República, Carlos Alvarado, instó a todos los jerarcas a persuadir a la gente y a hacer campañas de vacunación en las instituciones no solo para funcionarios, sino también para sus familias.
“Nuestro objetivo es que la gente se vacune. Queremos cuidar a la población y que se vacunen para el beneficio de todas y todos”, declaró Alvarado.
