Erika: la madre que perdonó al hombre que mató a su hija embarazada
Francis León, hija de doña Erika, fue asesinada la tarde del 2 de setiembre en Liberia, Guanacaste.
En una notable muestra de fuerza y humildad la madre de Francis León Miranda, la joven de 26 años que fue asesinada de varias puñaladas el pasado jueves 2 de setiembre, aseguró que ya perdonó al hombre que presuntamente mató a su hija.
Doña Erika Miranda Chaves contó a diario La Teja que pese a la tragedia no está de luto pues Dios la llenó de fuerza y paz para afrontar esta dura prueba. Por eso su corazón está libre de rencor y odio lo que le permitió perdonar al exnovio de su hija de apellidos Ramírez Duarte.
Francis tenía siete meses de embarazo, además era madre de un niño de tres años y una niña de seis años.
Aquel 2 de setiembre, la joven llegó a casa de su amiga Mariela Contreras ubicada en el barrio 25 de julio en Liberia, Guanacaste. Francis, se iba a quedar a dormir ahí pues al día siguiente se iba a realizar un ultrasonido en el hospital de la localidad.
Luego el sujeto intentó quitarse la vida, pero no lo logró. Actualmente descuenta un año de prisión preventiva mientras se le investiga por el femicidio de León Miranda.
Doña Erika se enteró de lo sucedido por medio de la llamada telefónica de uno de sus yernos. En ese momento ella se encontraba en Limón.
“Mi yerno por parte de mi otra hija, Michelle, me llamó. Yo escuchaba los gritos de ella (Michelle) al fondo y mi yerno solo me decía que me sentara, por lo que entré en desesperación, sabía que algo malo había pasado”, recordó la sufrida madre.
“Él se bajo del carro para que ella (Michelle) no oyera y me dijo: ‘su hija está muerta’, y me cortó, seguro porque Michelle se bajó del carro. Automáticamente me di cuenta que se trataba de Francis”, agregó.
Miranda indicó que tras enterarse de la noticia presintió que Ramírez estaba involucrado en el hecho, algo que confirmó con el paso de las horas.
El último adiós
Los restos de Francis fueron velados en el Centro Cristiano Ebenezer de Filadelfia, en Carrillo de Guanacaste. Doña Erika contó que ese día no lloró pues cada vez que miraba el ataúd en el que descansaban los restos de su hija y de su nieta, que se iba a llamar Eliana, la certeza de saber que habían sido recibidas por Dios la llenaba de fortaleza.
“Me sentí en paz, me acordé de todas las promesas de Dios para mi vida y una de ellas fue que yo y mi casa seríamos salvas, recordaba eso cuando veía a mi hija dormida en el ataúd con su hija en el pecho, porque no la llevaba en la pancita, ella llevaba a mi nieta en su pecho, la bebé llevaba un velo hermoso y ambas iban vestidas de blanco”, comentó Miranda.
La señora dijo que no le quita el sueño si Ramírez Duarte recibe o no una fuerte condena porque ella dejó todo en manos de Dios y él sabrá qué hacer.
“Suficiente daño con la herida que ya hay en el corazón, el odio es un cáncer que daña el espíritu y el alma, pero el perdón es el bálsamo para ese dolor, pues si queremos una vida con paz y armonía solo hay uno que nos puede dar eso y es el Señor”, concluyó.
Ahora doña Erika enfrenta otra batalla, esta vez por uno de los hijos de Francis. Ella quedó bajo el cuidado de la niña, pero el niño quedó con su padre por lo que ahora busca un abogado que le ayude a obtener la custodia del pequeño pues no quiere que crezca lejos de su hermana.
