Internan en el Hospital Psiquiátrico a hombre que fue hallado en las montañas de Escazú
Al parecer el paciente presenta un grave cuadro de depresión.
Maynor Álvarez Jiménez, de 47 años de edad y quien estuvo desaparecido en las montañas de Escazú por cinco días, fue internado en el Hospital Nacional Psiquiátrico Manuel Antonio Chapui, ubicado en Pavas, para una valoración médica.
La información fue confirmada por la oficina de prensa del Hospital San Juan de Dios (HSJD), centro médico donde Álvarez fue llevado en primera instancia el jueves por la tarde luego de ser encontrado por un campesino, al portal de noticias Teletica.com.
“El hombre ingresó al centro médico San Juan de Dios el jueves en horas de la tarde, proveniente de Escazú, este mismo día se le dio de alta médica y, de inmediato, fue ingresado al Hospital Psiquiátrico”, indicó la oficina de prensa del HSJD al medio digital.
El hombre fue visto por última vez cuando salió de su casa el sábado 11 de setiembre a eso de las 3:00 p.m., se dirigió hasta una calle solitaria y se internó en la montaña, según narró a sus familiares un cuidacarros que lo vio en la tarde.
La Policía Municipal de Escazú asistió a Álvarez, junto a un grupo de paramédicos de la Cruz Roja Costarricense, quienes lo trasladaron al hospital.
“Cuando llegamos a la escena, encontramos al hombre un poco desorientado y, tras la revisión médica, se confirma que presenta algunos signos de hipotermia y de deshidratación, razón por la cual fue llevado al Hospital San Juan de Dios”, declaró Guido Mora de la Cruz Roja al medio.
