El airado reclamo de Sherman Guity a los medios de comunicación
A su llegada al país el paravelocista le hizo un reclamo a los periodistas que lo esperaban.
El paratleta costarricense, Sherman Guity, llegó al país la noche de este jueves 9 de setiembre tras hacer historia en los Juegos Paralímpicos Tokyo 2020.
Guity obtuvo en las justas paralímpicas dos medallas, oro en los 200 metros y plata en los 100 metros T64.
En conferencia de prensa, Guity, lamentó la falta de apoyo y solicitó a los medios de comunicación y a las empresas que sigan de cerca la labor de
“El atletismo de alto rendimiento es muy duro, conlleva muchos gastos económicos y en este momento no tengo ningún patrocinador, espero que apoyen no solo a mí sino a todos los atletas que se han esforzado para llegar a los Juegos Olímpicos y Paralímpicos”, indicó Sherman.
“Y un poco enojado porque no transmitieron los Juegos Paralímpicos, pero bueno está bien muchas gracias. Ojalá se acerquen patrocinadores y ayuden y transmitan más los deportes paralímpicos porque no los transmitieron y sí los Olímpicos, entonces se siente feo, que apoyen más todos”, manifestó Guity.
Por último, el joven originario de Limón agradeció a todas las personas que lo apoyaron.
“Muchas gracias a todos los que me han estado apoyando desde la casa, en serio la vibra se siente allá. Vamos por más cosas, por grandes cosas y aqui trajimos las medallas, estas medallas son para todo el pueblo de Costa Rica, vamos a celebrar a los atletas de todas las disciplinas”, indicó.
