Federaciones deportivas están furiosas con Leonardo Chacón y le exigen que se disculpe
El triatlonista aseguró que el Comité Olímpico Nacional otorga becas a dedo entre otras incendiarias declaraciones.
Luego de que la semana anterior el triatleta nacional Leonardo Chacón asegurara que el sistema deportivo nacional es inexistente, y que el Comité Olímpico Nacional (COI) otorga becas a dedo, representantes de 25 asociaciones y federaciones deportivas nacionales exigen que el deportista se disculpe por sus polémicas declaraciones.
“Ningún presidente, dirigente deportivo o atleta de alto rendimiento ha dejado de luchar por representar dignamente al deporte de Costa Rica. Es por esta razón que no aceptamos de ninguna manera se intente desacreditar los procesos del alto rendimiento del país y rechazamos de forma enérgica la mal intencionada idea de que nuestros atletas suben a un avión en el último momento, sin preparación alguna, sin resultados o sin proyección a clasificación”, indica el comunicado que enviaron las federaciones este lunes.
“Los recursos públicos que ejecutan las federaciones deportivas nacionales, son absolutamente controlados por el Instituto Costarricense del Deporte y la Recreación y la Contraloría General de la República, mediante estrictas liquidaciones y proceso de control, siempre ejecutado dichos recursos con la mayor transparencia y justificaciones técnica”, concluye el comunicado.
Y es que la incendiaria publicación de Chacón incomodó a más de uno mientras otros apoyaron sus declaraciones.
