El conmovedor mensaje que “Cali” Muñoz escribió para los costarricenses
El surfista envió un sentido mensaje a todos los que lo apoyaron en su sueño por competir en los Juegos Olímpicos Tokyo 2020.
El surfista costarricense, Carlos Muñoz, corrió contra el tiempo para poder cumplir su sueño deportivo de asistir a los Juegos Olímpicos Tokyo 2020 ya que recibió una invitación de última hora.
“Cali” recibió la invitación para competir en las justas olímpicas el viernes anterior por la noche y debía llegar el sábado por la noche a suelo asiático, pero no fue posible y su historia mantuvo en vilo al país por horas.
“Quiero agradecer a Yahweh y a todo el pueblo de Costa Rica. Lo que hicieron por mí es de las cosas más impresionantes que he vivido. Fueron mi mayor motivación, no logramos llegar a competir a las Olimpiadas de Tokio 2020 a pesar de todo el esfuerzo, pero me dejó el premio más grande, que es el amor y apoyo que me brindó mi país”, escribió el surfista en su perfil oficial en Facebook.
“Lo mejor de Costa Rica es su gente. Gracias Federación de Surf de Costa Rica Comité Olímpico Nacional de Costa Rica – CONCRC. Nunca dejen de luchar por sus sueños, para Yahweh no hay nada imposible”, agregó.
