Intensas lluvias dejan dos muertos en Sarapiquí y Guácimo
Las víctimas mortales son dos adultos mayores de 71 y 60 años de edad.
La Cruz Roja Costarricense informó el hallazgo de otra persona que murió a raíz de las lluvias torrenciales que han afectado al país en los últimos días.
Se trata de una mujer de 71 años de apellidos Calderón Chinchilla que fue encontrada por unos socorristas en una quebrada en Guácimo, en Limón.
El primer cuerpo apareció minutos antes de las 10:00 a.m. de este domingo en Caño San José, en Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí.
Se trata de un señor de 60 años, cuya identidad no se dio a conocer, quien se encontraba desaparecido desde el viernes anterior cuando una corriente lo arrastró luego de que fue a revisar un ganado en su finca en Horquetas de Sarapiquí.

“En el sector de Tucurrique, un adulto mayor de 70 años, y la femenina en El Cocal de Siquirres, que todavía está en expectativa la búsqueda, de encontrarlos en algún sector”, indicó Herrera.
