¡Se viene fin de semana largo! Feriado del 25 de julio se traslada para el lunes 26
Este feriado es de pago obligatorio.
Se acerca un fin de semana largo, el 25 de julio, fecha en la que se celebra el Día de la Anexión del Partido de Nicoya cae domingo, pero se traslada para el lunes 26, por ley con el objetivo de que las personas tengan más días para pasear y así reactivar a los sectores que se han visto más golpeados por la pandemia del covid-19.
Según indica el Código de Trabajo, en el artículo 148, este feriado es de pago obligatorio, esto quiere decir que todos los colaboradores tienen derecho a disfrutarlo.
“Si a usted se le contrató para trabajar por semana y se le paga por semana el día feriado no está incluido dentro de su salario ordinario de tal forma si usted trabaja el día feriado la empresa o su patrono va a tener que pagarle doble ese día”, explicó el abogado laboralista Álvaro Aguilar a Telenoticias.
“Para los trabajadores que tienen una modalidad de pago mensual, sí deben de trabajarlo estas personas van a tener derecho a recibir un salario sencillo, es decir, se les paga lo equivalente a un día de trabajo”, agregó el jurista.
Otro feriado que no varía es el de el 15 de agosto, el Día de las Madres, que de disfrutará en la fecha correspondiente, el domingo, y es de pago obligatorio.
“El día 2 de agosto es un día de pago no obligatorio, esto lo que quiere decir para las personas que están dentro de una modalidad de trabajo donde su pago es semanal este día no lo tienen que trabajar y el patrono no lo debe de pagar nada más para tenerlo claro, salvo la excepción de que esta persona trabaje ese día ante lo cual la empresa debe de hacer el pago que por ley corresponde la empresa o el patrono. Para el día 15 de agosto, que cae en domingo, es un día de pago obligatorio, es decir, toda persona que trabaje ese día debe de recibir un pago”, manifestó Aguilar al noticiero.
