Virgen de los Ángeles más grande del mundo estará en Guanacaste
Se espera que la obra sea inaugurada el próximo 2 de agosto, durante la Fiesta Nacional en honor a La Negrita.
Una escultura de 16 metros de altura de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles será colocada en lo que se conocerá como el Santuario El Salto de Guanacaste. La monumental obra se convertirá en la imagen de La Negrita más grande del mundo y en una de las esculturas con mayores dimensiones de Centroamérica.
Se espera que la obra sea inaugurada el próximo 2 de agosto, durante las celebraciones en honor a la patrona de Costa Rica y será bendecida por un sacerdote ese mismo día.
La imagen de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles estará instalada en un área en la que los visitantes podrán recorrer caminos en medio natural, con una calzada para descanso, elaborada con piedra cantera, área de parqueo y batería de baños.
Santuario El Salto de Guanacaste
El Santuario El Salto de Guanacaste es un megaproyecto llevado a cabo entre los vecinos de Liberia y Bagaces en conjunto con la empresa Amano.
Entre sus próximos proyectos se encuentra la construcción de una cruz de 33 metros de altura, que contará con iluminación de lámparas solares, para que pueda ser apreciada por las noches desde la Carretera Interamericana.
También se elaborará un pesebre navideño tamaño natural que incluirá, adicional a la Sagrada Familia, la confección de 100 figuras, entre animales, pastores y santos, una capilla de oración de 200 metros cuadrados y una escultura del Cristo Redentor.
El santuario se ubicará en El Salto de Bagaces a tan solo 10 minutos de Liberia y cuenta con el apoyo de 24 escultores bajo la guía de Ricardo López, escultor nicaragüense.
El proyecto, que busca convertirse en un lugar de peregrinación y espitirualidad, tendrá un costo aproximado de ₡620 millones y es financiado por los empresarios y vecinos de la zona.
