Colectivo LGBTI+ premia a Zorán como “Cantante del año”
Participante del programa “Nace una Estrella” fue galardonado en la sexta gala de los Pride Awards.
En la celebración del Mes de la Diversidad el colectivo LGBTI+ de Costa Rica, Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales, Transgénero, Transexuales, Travestis a Intersex, realizó la sexta entrega los Pride Awards.
Uno de los galardonados fue el participante del programa de Teletica “Nace una Estrella”, Alexander Arce, mejor conocido como Zorán, quien fue premiado como el “Cantante del año” por su extraordinario talento en el canto y el maquillaje, también por aceptarse y quererse tal y como es sin ocultarlo a nadie.
Zorán, no pudo asistir a la premiación porque ese día tenía ensayo en el canal, pero agradeció el galardón con un emotivo video.
En entrevista con diario La Teja, el cantante, quien es originario de Cartago, aseguró estar orgulloso de pertenecer a la comunidad LGBTI+ .
Zorán recordó lo difícil que fue revelarle a su madre sus preferencias sexuales.
“Fue a los quince años y el proceso más difícil fue cuando se lo dije a mi mamá, al principio me llevó a un guía espiritual y a un psicólogo porque ella es muy creyente en Dios. Con el tiempo la que se educó más bien fue ella”, contó.
El cartaginés está muy agradecido por el apoyo que ha recibido en “Nace una Estrella”, aunque confesó que al principio temió no ser del agrado de los televidentes.
“Yo pensé que no iba a llegar porque en redes sociales soy abiertamente gay, me pasan las de Juan Gabriel (que dijo: “lo que se ve, no se pregunta”), pero me he llevado una grata sorpresa, un apoyo enorme del público y no he tenido que negar ni ocultar nada y eso uno lo agradece”, concluyó.
