Las lesiones siguen atacando a la Sele: Yeltsin Tejeda presenta un desgarro
Jefferson Brenes ocupará el espacio de Tejeda en la lista de jugadores que viajarán a la Copa Oro.
El volante dos veces mundialista, Yeltsin Tejeda, fue reportado como lesionado por el equipo médico de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol este lunes en horas de la mañana.
Según indicó el médico de la Selección, Alejandro Ramírez, “Tejeda presenta un desgarro en la parte posterior de la pierna derecha, por lo que requerirá un período de rehabilitación que lo inhabilitará de dos a tres semanas”.
El puesto de Yeltsin será tomado por su compañero, el también herediano Jefferson Brenes, quien ya fue convocado y se unirá a La Sele a primera hora de este martes 6 de julio.
Por otra parte, el defensor Bryan Oviedo no entrenó con la Tricolor la mañana de este lunes debido a que tuvo un derrame articular leve en una rodilla.
Requerimos bajarle la inflamación de la rodilla derecha a Oviedo, por lo que en las próximas horas lo tendremos en constante valoración médica para descartar una lesión que comprometa su participación en la Copa Oro”, declaró Ramírez.
Los demás seleccionados entrenan con normalidad en las canchas naturales del Complejo Deportivo Fedefútbol-Plycem.
Esta semana la Selección estará entrenando una vez por día y no se contempla una concentración cerrada.
El jueves 8 de julio el técnico Luis Fernando Suárez atenderá en conferencia de prensa virtual previo a la salida de la Selección rumbo a Orlando el viernes 9 de julio, a las 2:07 p.m.
