Niña sorprendió a oficial de tránsito que salvó a su padre con un dulce regalo
La pequeña se presentó junto a su madre a la delegación de la Policía de Tránsito en Atenas.
Es de bien nacidos ser agradecidos. La heróica niña de 10 años de edad que el jueves anterior llamó al 9-1-1 solicitando ayuda para su padre que sufrió un quebranto de salud mientras conducía por la Ruta 27 se presentó la mañana de este sábado a la delegación de la Policía de Tránsito en Atenas para agradecerles por la oportuna acción realizada.
La pequeña le llevó un queque al oficial de Tránsito, Mario Vargas Gómez, quien arriesgó su vida para detener el carro conducido por Zamora (padre de la menor), quien se descompensó y avanzó en contravía por aproximadamente 20 kilómetros sobre la ruta que comunica a San José con Caldera.
Es por eso que la menor en compañía de su madre, quienes solicitaron que sus nombres no fueran divulgados visitaron la delegación para agradecerle una vez más al uniformado su intervención y para entregarle el queque. Sin embargo, el oficial no se encontraba en las oficinas pues trabaja en horario nocturno e iniciaba labores a las 10:00 p.m.
Manuel Carballo, jefe de la delegación se comprometió a entregarle el presente a Vargas.
Aunque no pudo compartir con la niña ni su mamá, don Mario aseguró sentirse contento con el presente que le llevaron, aunque para él la mayor satisfacción es la de saber que tanto la menor como su papá se encuentran en buenas condiciones.
“Uno se siente halagado por haber podido ayudarlos, como policía yo estoy destinado a ayudar al prójimo y la verdad es que uno está para eso, para servir a los demás”, indicó Vargas.
