Más de 5000 bares han cerrado en el país por la pandemia: Asobarest

Un año y medio de pandemia por Covid-19 provocó el cierre de forma permanente de más de 5000 bares. Como consecuencia 109 mil personas perdieron su empleo.
Así lo dio a conocer la Asociación de Bares y Restaurantes (Asobarest) a Noticias Monumental.
“Aproximadamente 5000 negocios son los que han cerrado a raíz de esta situación. Para el mes de mayo hemos tenido que reducir el tema de los trabajadores debido a que con estos horarios con el tema de la restricción vehicular la afluencia de público a nuestros comercios es sumamente baja y tenemos que reducir costos y no podemos seguir trabajando con la misma cantidad de personal que siempre se ha trabajado”, declaró José Francisco Quesada, presidente de Asobarest a Monumental.
Quesada comentó que el sector se empezó a recuperar a inicios de este 2021, pero que las nuevas restricciones volvieron a complicar las operaciones.
La restricción vehicular sanitaria por placas pares e impares en todo el país se mantendrá hasta el lunes 31 de mayo.
