Consejo Superior de Educación analiza cambiar el uniforme de primaria
El CSE discute la necesidad de cambiar el uniforme de escuela por uno “más relajado”.
El Consejo Superior de Educación (CSE) analiza la posibilidad de cambiar el uniforme que utilizan los estudiantes de primaria por uno “más relajado” así como ocurrió en el 2018 cuando se aprobó la modificación de la vestimenta tradicional de kínder (gabacha celeste y pantalón azul), por una más cómoda y fresca para la movilidad de los pequeños.
La iniciativa surgió en el marco de la modificación que se hizo este año para excusar del uso del uniforme completo a los estudiantes cuyos padre de familia presentaran dificultades económicas para comprarlo.
Gilda Montero, representante de las organizaciones de educadores ante el CSE indicó que es necesaria esta modificación argumentando que hay una competencia en el sistema privado donde hay más flexibilidad para que los estudiantes puedan asistir a lecciones con calzado deportivo, siempre que sean de un color específico e incluso con las faldas por fuera, como una camisa tipo polo holgada.
“Se pensaría que en el sistema, y también considerando los cambios que tuvimos con los uniformes de preescolar y de materno, se podría repensar que no solamente se escriba un transitorio (para que el uniforme completo no fuera obligatorio por la pandemia), sino que se revise efectivamente todo el reglamento de uniforme para que se puedan tener uniformes más relajados”, dijo González en la sesión del CSE N.°06-2021 del pasado 28 de enero publicada por el periódico La Nación.
La jerarca de Educación, Guiselle Cruz, respaldó la propuesta.
“Una madre de familia decía que pensara en las mamás que tenían que alistar las blusas blancas y las enaguas de primaria, que hay que aplanchar todavía. Se hicieron cambios en el uniforme de secundaria, en el uniforme de preescolar, no así el de primaria y es un elemento que se debe considerar: unos uniformes más prácticos, tendientes más al cuido del ambiente”, indicó la ministra de Educación en la sesión del Consejo.
En la sesión, Cruz, solicitó que se revisara el reglamento de la vestimenta de primaria y que el viceministerio académico del Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) confeccione una propuesta del nuevo uniforme, como lo hizo en su momento con el de preescolar.
El Consejo Superior de Educación es el encargado de definir la Política Educativa, de evaluar y de promover los cambios pertinentes “a fin de mejorar la calidad, la equidad y eficiencia” de la educación en Costa Rica.
