(Video) Jóvenes desalmados lanzan al vacío a indefensos gatos en San José
La Federación Canina de Costa Rica ya interpuso una denuncia ante el OIJ.
Un video en el que, en apariencia, unos jóvenes toman varios gatos y los lanzan al vacío se volvió viral la tarde de este lunes y generó críticas en las redes sociales, donde los ciudadanos exigen sancionar a los salvajes que protagonizan el video por maltrato animal.
El hecho muestra a los jóvenes reírse antes, durante y después del acto, que habría tenido lugar en San Sebastián en San José detrás del Centro de Atención Institucional (CAI).
La Federación Canina de Costa Rica expresó a través de un video, su tajante rechazo al hecho y lamentó que los agresores sean jóvenes. Además informó que denunció lo ocurrido ante las autoridades judiciales con el propósito de que se inicie una investigación preliminar.
Así también comunicó que se está recibiendo información sobre el hecho y anunció la apertura del proceso.
“Acá toca la aplicación penal juvenil y la Ley de Bienestar Animal que también es amparada por el Código Penal. Por cada gatito que sufrió la muerte en este caso, estos muchachos se exponen a dos años de cárcel acumulativa. Ya hicimos la apertura de investigación preliminar de este caso ante el OIJ puesto que en este momento está contra ignorado (es decir, no se ha señalado a nadie en particular como sospechoso)”, manifestó Rubén Rodríguez, presidente de la Federación Canina Acan.
“Ya iniciará el proceso de investigación para que el OIJ de con los nombres, identificar a estas personas y nosotros como organización vamos a imputarles y vamos a solicitar la pena máxima para estos menores de edad que definitivamente no están bien de la cabeza al estar haciendo este tipo de cosas y que desde ya se corrijan que son menores de edad y no crezcan con ese tipo de conductas y sean un problema para nuestra comunidad”, agregó.
