Bezos pierde $ 1.300 millones y aún así supera a Musk como el hombre más rico
Elon Musk revalorizó su fortuna en 1.300 millones de dólares, pero no pudo evitar que Jeff Bezos, dueño de Amazon, retomara la primera posición.
Jeff Bezos, dueño de Amazon, volvió a ser considerada como la persona más rica del mundo al sobrepasar a Elon Musk, fundador del fabricante de vehículos eléctricos Tesla, a pesar de que el también propietario del diario The Washington Post perdió 1.300 millones de dólares.
De acuerdo a la revista especializada Forbes este viernes 12 de febrero, Bezos acumula 189.000 millones de dólares como fortuna, con lo cual retomó su lugar en el ‘ranking’ de multimillonarios, mientras que Musk totaliza hasta 174.000 millones de dólares.
Aunque el patrimonio de Elon Musk se revalorizó en 1.300 millones de dólares.
Bernard Arnault, el hombre más rico de Francia y dueño del conglomerado de empresa de bienes de lujos LVMH, está situado en el tercer lugar con 154.000 millones de dólares. En el cuarto se ubica Bill Gates, fundador de Microsoft, con unos 124.000 millones de dólares.
Jeff Bezos, quien anunció que pronto dejará la gestión diaria de Amazon, es un hombre que se convirtió en multimillonario tras fundar un imperio desde su garaje.
De naturaleza bastante discreta, Jeffrey Preston Bezos, de 57 años, aseguró que seguirá “vinculado” a las grandes decisiones del grupo que creó en 1994 cuando ceda su puesto de director ejecutivo a Andy Jassy en el tercer trimestre del año.
Pero no le faltará actividad: también es propietario de la sociedad espacial Blue Origin, además de creador de las organizaciones filantrópicas Day 1 Fund y Bezos Earth Fund.
El éxito mundial de Amazon y su consiguiente ascenso en el mercado bursátil le permitieron convertirse en el hombre más rico del mundo.
En una carta en la que anunció su salida a los empleados de Amazon, Bezos les pedía a principios de febrero “seguir inventando”. Y añadía: “No se desesperen cuando la idea parezca una locura al principio”.
