Con cubrebocas, Joe Biden, da discurso a favor de su uso para salvar vidas
Joe Biden dijo que el uso del cubrebocas puede salvar muchas vidas, al ser uno de los instrumentos a la mano más fuertes contra la pandemia
México.- El presidente de Estados Unidos, Joe Biden, dio un discurso con el cubrebocas puesto donde se mostró a favor de su uso para salvar vidas en medio de la pandemia de coronavirus (Covid-19) que en el país ha contagiado a 27 millones 378 mil 881 personas y provocado la muerte de 474 mil 988 hasta este jueves 11 de febrero.
Joe Biden hizo un recorrido por una de las sedes de los Institutos Nacionales de Salud (NIH, por sus siglas en inglés), ubicada cerca de Washington DC para anunciar que se habían firmado contratos adicionales para la compra de 100 millones de dosis de vacunas con el laboratorio Moderna y otras 100 millones con Pfizer/BioNTech.

En ese momento, el presidente de Estados Unidos recalcó la “importancia crítica” del uso del cubrebocas entre la población:
“Saben que usando este cubrebocas a lo largo del próximo año podemos salvar un importante número de vidas”

Joe Biden informa sobre vacunación contra coronavirus en Estados Unidos
Estados Unidos ha inoculado a por los menos 34.7 millones de personas con la primera de las dos dosis de la vacuna contra el coronavirus, lo que representa el 10 por ciento de los habitantes que residen en el país.
Además, de acuerdo con sus cálculos, 46.3 millones de dosis ya fueron aplicadas y 68.2 millones distribuidas, mientras las farmacias toman citas para comenzar con la vacunación del viernes 12 de febrero, a la par que el gobierno echa mano de la legislación de emergencia para incrementar la producción de vacunas contra el coronavirus.
Los 200 millones de vacunas contra el Covid-19 adicionales permitirán disponer de un suministro suficiente para inocular a 300 millones de estadounidenses a finales de julio de 2021, prevé el presidente Joe Biden.
