WhatsApp: ¿cómo saber el nombre que te pusieron tus amigos en su teléfono?

Según detalla El Universo, este método funciona en todos los dispositivos, sean Android o iPhone. Asimismo, no es necesario instalar ninguna aplicación de terceros en tu smartphone, solo seguir las siguientes indicaciones:
1. Entra a cualquier conversación de WhatsApp.
2. Pídele a esa persona que te comparta su número, pero no escribiéndolo, sino a través de la aplicación.
3. Para ello debe ingresar a tu perfil y pulsar los tres botones que se encuentran en la esquina superior derecha.
4. Se desplegarán varias opciones, una de ellas es compartir.
5. WhatsApp mostrará una lista con todos los contactos, debe seleccionarte a ti.
Eso sería todo. En la conversación aparecerá un mensaje que revelará el nombre (o apodo) con el que tu contacto decidió guardarte en la agenda de su dispositivo móvil. Si no te gusta, puedes pedirle que lo cambie.
¿Existen otros métodos?
En Play Store, la tienda de aplicaciones de Android, hay un sinnúmero de programas que, supuestamente, te permiten saber muchas cosas sobre tus contactos de WhatsApp, Facebook u otra aplicación.
No creas en ninguna de ellas. Aunque algunas pueden tener una alta valoración (lograda a través de bots), esas apps son falsas, solo buscan lucrar usando la publicidad que te muestran a cada momento.
Incluso, estas aplicaciones falsas buscan que pagues una versión premium para desbloquear más funciones como saber quién vio tu foto de perfil de WhatsApp, quién te borró de su agenda, entre otras opciones.

A través del portal WABetaInfo se dio a conocer que WhatsApp recibiría la nueva función que permite a los usuarios añadir contactos mediante un código QR. WhatsApp había habilitado recientemente el soporte para códigos QR en las últimas actualizaciones beta de iOS en TestFlight y este viernes WhatsApp está implementando oficialmente la función para todos los probadores beta de Android.
