“No dejen de intentar rescatarnos”: 12 mineros atrapados bajo tierra en China
Hay una carrera contra el tiempo para rescatar a trabajadores que siguen vivos una semana después de una explosión en una mina de oro.
“No dejen de intentar rescatarnos, mantendremos la esperanza. Gracias”, fueron las señales de vida que dieron 12 mineros atrapados bajo tierra después de que una explosión los dejara incomunicados en una mina de oro, el 10 de enero, en la provincia de Shandong, China.
Hasta el momento, se desconoce el paradero y el estado de salud de otros 10 trabajadores que también se encontraban en la mina cuando ocurrió el accidente. El domingo 17 de enero, los rescatistas escucharon golpes en los tubos de perforación, hicieron descender una cuerda con suministros y sintieron como alguien jalaba de ella para cogerlos.
Al recoger el cordón, se dieron cuenta que tenía enganchada una nota escrita con lápiz en la que detallaba la localización de 12 mineros, de los cuales cuatro están heridos.
“Estamos muy agotados y necesitamos urgentemente medicamentos para el estómago, analgésicos, cinta adhesiva médica y antiinflamatorios externos. Tres personas tienen la tensión alta”, decía la nota, según la agencia estatal Xinhua.
La misiva también advertía la escasez de ventilación y la presencia de una gran cantidad de agua subterránea en el lugar donde están atrapados. Se cree que se encuentran a unos 600 metros de la salida de la mina dañada tras la explosión.
