Joven muere congelado dentro de su automóvil tras seguir una ruta equivocada: habían -50 grados
El hecho se registró en una localidad rusa donde las temperaturas pueden llegar hasta los -60 grados celsius. El vehículo en que viajaban presentó inconvenientes que los obligó a detenerse.
Un joven de 18 años identificado como Sergey Ustinov, murió al interior de su Toyota Chaser luego que diera un giro equivocado en la ruta que se disponía a tomar. El fallecido viajaba con un amigo de su misma edad, el cual fue encontrado por un policía con una hipotermia aguda.
«El teniente de policía hizo todo lo posible para rescatar al joven sobreviviente. Informó a la comisaría de policía regional y al hospital, e hizo que los aldeanos de Tomtor participaran en la operación de rescate» informó el Ministerio del Interior de la República de Sakha según publican medios locales.
El hecho ocurrió en la conocida como «Carretera de los huesos». Los jóvenes viajaban a Magadan desde Yakutsk, la ciudad más fría del mundo.
El reporte del forense indicó, además, que ambos ocupantes del vehículo no contaban con las ropas adecuadas para las bajas temperaturas que se perciben en la región. Un frío extremo que le costó la vida a uno de ellos luego que el auto en que viabajan se averiara y quedara detenido en la carretera.
El radiador del automóvil se encontraba roto, por lo que tampoco les pudo suministrar calor al detenerse de golpe.
Así es como el otro joven se encuentra en cuidados intensivos por el alto nivel de congelamiento de sus piernas y brazos.
