Una mujer amenazó con suicidarse, pero cambió de planes y lanzó a su perro desde un segundo piso. La terrible situación ocurrió en Daytona Beach, Florida, Estados Unidos. en un hotel donde la mujer estaba alojada.
El perro sobrevivió sin lesiones graves, y Allison Murphy, de 35 años, fue detenida por delitos graves de crueldad animal y resistencia a un oficial de policía.
Los agentes y la policía de Daytona Beach fueron al hotel el lunes después de una denuncia que indicaba que la mujer estaba parada sobre la baranda del balcón y amenazaba con lanzarse al vacío. Cuando llegó la policía, la presunta suicida atacó a una empleada doméstica y se encerró en la habitación del alojamiento.
Después de que los agentes llamaron a la puerta varias veces, Murphy finalmente salió con un perro pastor alemán, lo alzó y de repente lo tiró por el balcón desde un segundo piso. El perro aterrizó con los pies para adelante, sin aparentes lesiones. Murphy fue detenida.
Servicios para animales del condado de Volusia adoptaron a la mascota y la apodaron Milagro. Luego de varios estudios, confirmaron que no tenía lesiones, aunque tenía clavada una aguja de coser en su muslo derecho.
Afortunadamente, durante su examen, se determinó que Miracle, o Milagro, escapó de lesiones graves. Sin embargo, una radiografía reveló que una aguja de coser estaba alojada en su muslo derecho. Luego de una pequeña operación, la mascota se recuperó en su totalidad.
