Barco, logran captar la destrucción de un meteorito en Tasmania
Los investigadores de la agencia australiana CSIRO fueron quienes observaron el momento exacto en el que el meteorito se deshacía en el océano cerca a Tasmania.
En el océano cerca de Tasmania, el personal de la agencia científica nacional de Australia, la Organización de Investigación Científica e Industrial del Commonwealth (CSIRO), fueron los encargados de captar el asombroso momento, desde un barco de investigación, en el que un meteorito se destruye.
Los hechos quedaron grabados y el video se puede apreciar desde la cuenta oficial de Twitter de CSIRO, en las imágenes se observa cómo el cuerpo celeste con aspecto brillante, casi muy parecido a un enorme diamante, cruza el cielo justo por enfrente del barco y luego se reduce a trozos en el mar.
El increíble fenómeno se dio el pasado miércoles 18 de noviembre en punto de las 10:21 UTC.
Justo en el momento en el que el aerolito entró a la atmósfera, la tripulación tuvo la oportunidad de poder observarlo casi de frente; añadieron que el color era un verde muy brillante. El momento estaba siendo transmitido en vivo, pero tuvo que ser interrumpido. Afortunadamente, la secuencia se encuentra en Twitter.

Este tipo de eventos suelen ser impredecibles e inesperados, por esa misma razón son difíciles de capturar, a causa de ésto, John Hooper, gerente de Viaje de CSIRO, quien era uno de los que se encontraba a bordo del barco, comentó que fue un golpe de suerte haber estado ahí y tener la oportunidad de capturar esta maravillosa oportunidad.
A través de un comunicado, Hooper dijo que lo que vieron al revisar las imágenes de la transmisión en vivo los dejó asombrados, pero una de las cosas más increíbles fue poder ver el tamaño y el brillo del meteoro.
En la actualidad, el barco se encuentra en la misma zona donde se grabaron los hechos para realizar un mapeo del fondo marino del Parque Marino Huon para Parks Australia.
