Venezuela adelanta el Black Friday y expone a sus ciudadanos a la COVID-19
Cientos de personas visitaron los centros comerciales, los cuales abrieron desde las 7.00 a. m., una semana antes de la fecha original que se fija el último viernes de noviembre.
El Black Friday se adelantó a este viernes 20 de noviembre en Venezuela a pesar de la pandemia por el coronavirus. Se realiza en el marco del sistema de flexibilización de cuarentena implementado por el Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro que, según reportes oficiales, mantiene una tasa de contagio baja con una acumulación de 98.665 casos.
Cientos de ciudadanos se han acercado a los establecimientos y centros comerciales que han abierto sus puertas desde las 7.00 horas locales (11.00 GMT) para atender la demanda de los compradores, una semana antes de la fecha original, que se fija tradicionalmente el último viernes de noviembre.
Los ciudadanos comenzaron a hacer filas desde antes de la hora de apertura, según los vigilantes de algunos comercios que, al mismo tiempo, intentan mantener el orden ante las normas sanitarias para evitar la expansión de la COVID-19.
Los establecimientos y centros comerciales como El Sambil, la cadena más grande del país, han desplegado a un equipo de personas para vigilar el uso correcto de las mascarillas y han colocado en varias zonas dispensadores de gel antibacterial.
La agencia de noticias EFE visitó algunos comercios en el este de Caracas que se habían sumado al Black Friday y las ofertas variaban entre el 20 y 50% en tiendas de electrodomésticos, ropa y calzado, donde los precios se ofrecen en dólares o al cambio del día.
Aunque la demanda es menor que el año pasado, según los gerentes, se podía apreciar un alto aforo que desafiaba a la crisis sanitaria.
Venezuela, sumergida en una compleja crisis económica, no ha escapado este año de los efectos de la pandemia, pues a principios del año la economía se paralizó por las medidas que tomó el Ejecutivo ante la llegada del nuevo coronavirus.
Actualmente, la administración de Maduro mantiene un sistema de flexibilización denominado 7+7 que consiste en una semana de clausura comercial seguida por otra en la que tiendas, parques y balnearios pueden recibir personas.
Los sectores comerciales criticaron este método, debido a que (sostienen) con la ya golpeada economía los, establecimientos pueden quebrar si no abren a diario.
