Un millón de chinos ya se vacunaron contra Covid-19 sin efectos secundarios
En China se inició la vacunación de los sectores estratégicos como militares y funcionarios.
La farmacéutica china Sinopharm asegura que ha suministrado su vacuna contra Covid-19 a alrededor de un millón de personas en el país asiático, sin que por el momento se hayan detectado efectos secundarios graves.
De acuerdo con Liu Jingzhen, presidente de la empresa, hasta la fecha “sólo unas pocas personas han mostrado síntomas leves” tras recibir la vacuna, así lo informó en un comunicado.
La vacunación está dentro de un programa de emergencia con el que Pekín había comenzado a inmunizar a sectores estratégicos. Por ejemplo, a trabajadores sanitarios, militares, diplomáticos y otros funcionarios.
La vacuna de Sinopharm ya completó la fase tres de ensayos tras los trabajos realizados en un total de diez países, entre ellos Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Bahréin, Egipto, Jordania, Perú y Argentina.
