Impactantes videos: explotó un camión cisterna con gas y mató a 13 personas
Varios cuerpos fueron encontrados dentro de diferentes vehículos incendiados a raíz de la explosión en una carretera.
Al menos 13 personas murieron este lunes por la explosión de un camión cisterna que transportaba gas y que afectó a otros vehículos en una carretera del occidental estado mexicano de Nayarit, informaron las autoridades estatales.
“Se confirman 13 personas fallecidas calcinadas“, detalló la Fiscalía General del Estado de Nayarit en un reporte publicado en redes sociales.
Según la dependencia, 12 de los cuerpos fueron encontrados dentro de diferentes vehículos incendiados a raíz de la explosión, mientras que otro, «probablemente conductor o copiloto“ del camión, estaba en el asfalto.
El Ministerio Público informó en el primer reporte de una “fuerte explosión de pipa (camión cisterna) que alcanzó a otros vehículos en la autopista Tepic-Guadalajara“, concretamente en el kilómetro 106 entre las poblaciones de Iztlán del Río y Chapalilla.
Al lugar se desplazaron policías estatales y municipales, así como miembros de la Guardia Nacional, Protección Civil, bomberos, ministerios públicos, peritos y personal forense.
En redes sociales trascendieron vídeos de ciudadanos saliendo de sus automóviles y corriendo por la carretera a raíz de una enorme columna de humo negro que de repente explota causando una llamarada de varios metros en lo que se presupone que es una segunda explosión.
«Hace unos minutos, el secretario de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana me informó que en la autopista Tepic-Guadalajara, a la altura del crucero Jala-Compostela, se registró una explosión de una cisterna de gas, que ha dejado lamentablemente a varias personas fallecidas», informó el gobernador de Nayarit, Antonio Echevarría.
El mandatario estatal dijo haber “instruido que se atienda y apoye a las víctimas lo antes posible“. Por su parte, la Guardia Nacional informó de un «cierre de circulación en ambos sentidos» a raíz de la explosión.
Con una población de 1,2 millones de habitantes, Nayarit es uno de los estados más pequeños de México, enclavado entre el océano Pacífico y los estados de Sinaloa, Durango, Zacatecas y Jalisco.
A fines de septiembre de este año, la explosión de un camión cisterna “pipa“ cargado con combustible dejó un saldo de cuatro personas muertas en el municipio petrolero de Paraíso, en el estado mexicano de Tabasco, al sureste del país.
Tal accidente había ocurrido en la localidad de La Raya, en la carretera Comalcalco-Paraíso, provocó un gran incendio y arrasó con al menos dos vehículos y cuatro viviendas.
