Trump despide al hombre que calificó a elecciones como ‘las más seguras de la historia’
El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, despidió al director de la agencia federal que avalaba la confiabilidad de las elecciones de 2020.
El aún presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, hizo público el despido de Christopher Krebs a través de un tuit este martes por la tarde, diciendo que su reciente declaración en la que defendía la seguridad de las elecciones era “muy inexacta”.
El despido de Krebs, designado por Donald Trump y director de la Agencia de Seguridad de Infraestructura y Ciberseguridad (CISA por sus siglas en inglés), se produce cuando el aún mandatario de los Estados Unidos se niega a reconocer la victoria del presidente electo demócrata, Joe Biden, y destituye a funcionarios de alto nivel considerados insuficientemente leales.

También despidió al secretario de Defensa, Mark Esper, el pasado 9 de noviembre en una reorganización más amplia que colocó a los leales de Trump en puestos de alto nivel en el Pentágono.
Krebs, un exejecutivo de Microsoft, dirigió la agencia conocida como CISA, desde su creación después de la interferencia rusa en las elecciones del 2016 hasta las elecciones de noviembre de este año.
Ganó elogios bipartidistas, ya que CISA coordinó los esfuerzos locales y estatales federales para defender los sistemas electorales de la interferencia nacional o extranjera.
