¡Última Hora! Manuel Merino es el nuevo presidente de Perú
Miles de peruanos se han tirado a las calles para protestar en contra del nuevo presidente.
Ayer el Congreso peruano destituyó a Martín Vizcarra como Presidente de la República de esa nación, la destitución ocurrió ya que se consideró ‘’incapacidad moral’’, por ahora en la Fiscalía avanza una investigación donde figura él como sospechoso en casos de corrupción.
Hace pocos minutos medios peruanos confirman que Manuel Merino es el nuevo Presidente de la República de Perú tras la destitución de Vizcarra, con respecto a esta nueva decisión, se reportaron manifestaciones a las afueras de congreso peruano en protesta de rechazo al proceso.
De acuerdo con un comunicado emitido ayer por el Congreso de la República de Perú, menciona que se aprobó la vacancia de Martín Vizcarra Cornejo en un hecho democrático y meramente constitucional.
En el comunicado se extienden las líneas y agregan que: ‘’Conforme al artículo 115 de la Constitución Política de Perú, corresponde la sucesión constitucional, ante la ausencia de un vicepresidente, el Presidente del Congreso de la República’’, señala el comunicado emitido ayer por el Congreso.
Hace aproximadamente una hora, Manuel Merino de Lama recibió a los Comandantes Generales de las Fuerzas Armadas, con el fin de respaldar lo dicho en la Constitución Política con respecto a la sucesión de la presidencia.
Posterior a la lectura del artículo 115 de su Constitución, el congresista, Manuel Merino ingresó al hemiciclo para prestar el juramento al cargo de Presidente de la República peruana.
‘’Reitero ante el país que nuestro primer compromiso es el de ratificar nuestra convicción democrática y respetar el proceso electoral en marcha’’, dijo Merino posterior a ser nombrado Presidente.
El actual mandatario dijo que, la salud es primordial y que mantendrán en primera línea los equipos médicos y técnicos que son los principales en enfrentar la pandemia del Covid-19.
