(Vídeo) Dos mineros mueren víctimas del huracán Eta en Nicaragua
Los mineros se encontraban trabajando en la mina El Comal, en la comunidad Buena Vista del municipio de Bonanza.
Dos mineros artesanales se convirtieron el martes (03.11.2020) en las primeras víctimas mortales por el paso del poderoso huracán Eta en Nicaragua, donde tocó tierra como categoría 4 con vientos máximos sostenidos de hasta 220 km/h, según informaron medios de prensa.
Los fallecidos murieron soterrados tras un deslave en una misa artesanal en el municipio de Bonanza, en la Región Autónoma del Caribe Norte (RACN), como consecuencia de las lluvias provocadas por Eta.
Los fallecidos fueron identificados con los nombres de Will, de 38 años, y Norwin, de 39, ambos originarios del municipio de Waslala, en el Caribe, según reportaron las autoridades de socorro al canal de televisión VOSTV, que compartió las imágenes.

Un tercer minero, Lázaro Herrera, de 44 años, logró sobrevivir al deslave y fue quien dio la voz de alarma.
Los mineros se encontraban trabajando en la mina El Comal, en la comunidad Buena Vista del municipio de Bonanza cuando ocurrió el deslave, como consecuencia de la saturación de los suelos por las constantes lluvias, explicó Herrera, que resultó con golpes leves.
‘’Se vino el deslave del cerro y eso fue lo que nos agarró. Nos agarró a los tres de hecho. Logré salir. Me agarré de un árbol y por eso salí con vida’’, relató.
